The MILOBO Shelter Healing Park Concept is more than a place to exercise. It is a therapeutic environment designed to meet the individual needs of shelter dogs, support natural behaviour and promote meaningful behavioural development.

MATCH ME. — Profiling & Matching
Behavioural profiling, understanding individual needs and matching each dog with a suitable adopter and household.

MOVE ME IN. — Supported Home Transitioning
Practical support for the transition into the new home, helping adopters establish appropriate routines, understand their dog's needs and avoid common early mistakes.

MAINTAIN ME. — Post-Adoption Follow-Up
Follow-up support in the new home, addressing emerging challenges and helping maintain progress and placement stability.
These activities can be prioritised within the MILOBO Shelter Partnership according to the shelter's current needs.
HOW THE PARTNERSHIP WORKS
The shelter engages MILOBO for a defined number of professional sessions each month.
Within each session, priorities are agreed according to the shelter's current needs. This may involve therapeutic park activities, behavioural work, adoption preparation, support for new owners or post-adoption follow-ups.
