2,360 kilometers. 7 days.
One decision that changed everyt
hing.

We crossed Europe in an old motorhome at 80 km/h because Antje was the only one we trusted to help our dog. The result changed everything—our dog, our pack, our life.

"Tinka was like a different dog."

In February 2024, I met Antje in Benissa and observed her while she worked with a group of twelve dogs, ranging in weight from six to eighty kilograms, none of them on a leash.

When a loud tractor drove past, all the dogs started barking loudly. Antje stood calmly but firmly in front of each dog, stopped their behaviour with a glance, and then took them all to another area—still off-leash! I was very impressed; all twelve dogs immediately obeyed Antje’s non-verbal communication. They trusted and respected her completely.

A few months ago, we had adopted a female dog, Tinka, who, despite years of training, still showed many behavioural problems, including aggression toward other dogs and even humans.

Back in Berlin, we decided to drive the 2,360 kilometers to Antje in Benissa with Tinka. She was the only one who could help us, we were sure of that. Finally, after a seven-day journey in our old motorhome, traveling at 80 kilometers per hour, we arrived at Antje's. Tinka was handed over to her care.

Among other things, Antje explained that Tinka was the strongest member of our family. This meant she didn’t trust or respect us enough to lead the group. So, we had coaching sessions with other dogs, while Tinka had her sessions independently of us with Antje. It was a very intense and valuable experience. We learned an incredible amount!

Now, it was up to us to apply our new knowledge! Tinka was like a different dog, and she thought the same about us—now seeing us as different, trustworthy people.

Finally, we were able to give her what she needed to trust us.

We restructured our little pack, and now we are all happy and relaxed. Tinka no longer feels insecure and cautious but can now be a playful, relaxed, protected dog in a strong family "pack."

There are many trainers out there, but Antje manages to get both people and dogs on the right track in no time.

I highly recommend this valuable journey to anyone. What's more, the sea and the surrounding area of Benissa are enchantingly beautiful. We enjoyed the most valuable coaching, and we would take this journey again with any other dog at any time. No distance is too far to ensure your pack is happy and safe.

We are, and will always be, grateful to Antje.
