In Doubt, for the Wolf -
the meaning behind MILOBO.
MILOBO is my very own Canine Behaviour Modification Master Plan, a concept combining the latest Scientific Approach of Clinical Psychology, Ethology, and 4 decades of hands on experience with dogs in general and shelter dogs in particular. I coined the name MILOBO from the Spanish words “mi lobo” – my wolf.
For me, it expresses a deep truth: within every dog lives the essence of the wolf – a being shaped by instinct, emotion, social structure and the need for balance.
When I respect the wolf within the dog, I honour their natural drives and communication. This respect allows me to "talk" to them in their own language and guide them in a way that brings clarity instead of conflict. The result is not only a satisfied and hence balanced dog, but also a blissful partnership with the owner.
The philosophy behind MILOBO:
